Reception for Vassilopita cutting of KEDISA at IST College-22 February 2019

On Friday, February 22, 2019, at the hospitable facilities of IST College in Athens, took place the reception for the cutting of the Vasilopita of the Center for International Strategic Analyses-KEDISA for the year 2019. At the reception were present, Ambassadors, Diplomats, Officers of the Hellenic Armed Forces and Security Corps, High Ranking Officials of Political Parties, Representatives of Research Institutes, the partners, associates and numerous friends of KEDISA. The Founder & President of KEDISA Andreas G. Banoutsos in his speech made a brief account of the activities of KEDISA for 2018 stating that KEDISA organized a total of 4 training seminars, 2 open events and 1 closed event in cooperation with the Embassies of the countries of the “Pacific Alliance” (Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru), while its website published dozens of analyses and research papers of young scientists in the field of International Relations and Strategic Studies, which KEDISA consistenly supports during its 4 years of operation thereby strengthening the professional opportunities for the young generation. He also referred to the constructive cooperation that KEDISA has with the Hellenic Institute for Strategic Studies (ELISME), as well as with SAFIA, the oldest student organization of International Relations in Greece. Finally, he thanked the Founding Partners of KEDISA, the members of the Board of Directors and the numerous associates of the Center, while a special mention was made to the kind support provided by IST College to the activities of KEDISA, as well as to the media sponsors of the events of KEDISA (Liberal.gr, EleftherosTypos.gr, Armyknowet, Reader.gr and insider .gr). After the speech followed the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita by the Founder & President of KEDISA Mr.Andreas G.Banoutsos under the blessings of the Archimandrite of the Archdiocese of Athens and member of KEDISA, Mr. Aristarchos Grekas, in the presence of the Secretary General of KEDISA, Mr. Omiros Tsapalos and the Research Director of KEDISA, Dr. Petros Violakis. Lucky person of the evening was Mr. Charalambos Tsetsekos, a Coast Guard executive, where he won the lucky coin. The “gift”  was a commemorative handmade porcelain pomegranate and the opportunity for free participation in all the training seminars that will be organized by KEDISA in 2019.
