Reception for Vassilopita cutting of KEDISA in Amalia Athens Hotel-12/02/2018

On Monday, February 12, 2018, in Amalia Athens Hotel took place the Event-Reception for the cutting of the Vasilopita of KEDISA for the year 2018. The event was attended by Members of the Hellenic Parliament, Ambassadors, Diplomats, Officers of the Hellenic Armed Forces and Security Corps, Representatives of Research Institutes, the partners and numerous friends of KEDISA. The Founder & Chairman of the Board Andreas G. Banoutsos, in his short speech, described the development of KEDISA since its establishment in June 2015 as well as its emphasis on cooperation and support of young researchers and undergraduate students in the scientific field of International Relations and Strategic Studies. The representative of the President of ND, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, MP Mr. George Koumoutsakos in his brief greeting remarked on the significant presence of KEDISA in the Think Tanks area and wished to continue its upward course. The representative of the President of PASOK and Head of the Movement for Change of the PASOK Mr. Lambros Rossis in his brief greeting congratulated Mr. Andreas G.Banoutsos and the founding partners for the initiative to establish this research center in a period of economic crisis as well also for the opportunities it offers to young scientists and undergraduate students. The event was attended also by the representative of the Secretary General of the Greek Communist Party, Mr. Dimitris Koutsoumpas, and member of the Department of International Relations, Mr. Lefteris Nikolaou, as well as by Mr. Prodromos Theodoulides, representative of MP of SYRIZA, Mr. Ioannis Dedes. After the brief greetings the traditional cutting of the vassilopita followed by the Founder & President of KEDISA Mr. Andreas G. Banoutsos under the blessings of the Archimandrite of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, Mr. Aristarchos Grekas. Lucky person of the evening was Ms. Maria Kolokytha, a student of International Relations at Panteion University and intern at Europe Direct City of Athens, where she won the Vassilopita coin. The “award” was a card holder with the KEDISA logo engraved and the opportunity for free participation in all the training seminars organized by KEDISA within 2018.
