Intelligence as a term is applied to certain kinds of information, activities and organizations that are relevant to a governments’ formulating and implementing policy to further its national security interests.1 Intelligence incorporates the identification and analysis of threats to national security. Intelligence also provides the government it serves with information that would equip policy makers’ decisions with accurate information with respect to their national security interests.
